Building and living sustainably
From construction to decoration, we have sought to minimize resource consumption and respect the area’s biodiversity. Lighting, thermal insulation, and spatial design have been carefully planned to maximize energy efficiency and create a healthy, comfortable environment. We complement this approach with rainwater harvesting, promoting a conscious and responsible use of water.

At Casa Alta, every material reflects our commitment to nature and the local community.
Our structure is built with guadua (bamboo), a noble, sustainable, and vibrant material. The woods used—samán, guaimaro, and choibá bring character, warmth, and authenticity to every space.
Each stone sink has been hand-carved.
All the builders and artisans of Casa Alta are from the region, supporting the local economy.
